Solidarity Is Global Institute-JO (SIGI) held its regular Annual General Assembly Meeting No. (1) for the year 2025 on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the association's headquarters. The meeting was attended by 21 members out of 30 who had paid their membership dues—13 attended in person and 8 by proxy—thus achieving the legal quorum required for the meeting to be held.
During the meeting, several agenda items were presented and discussed. These included the approval of the financial report and the auditor's report for 2024, as well as the administrative report prepared in accordance with the Ministry of Social Development's template for the same year. The estimated budget and the executive work plan for 2025 were also reviewed and approved. Additionally, a set of revised and new regulatory bylaws and guidelines were discussed and ratified.
SIGI emphasized that holding this meeting reflects the association's commitment to the principles of transparency and participatory governance. It also underscores its dedication to ensuring the effectiveness of plans aimed at achieving gender justice and equality, empowering women and girls, and enhancing their active and impactful participation in Jordanian society.
The meeting was then concluded.
