Solidarity Is Global Institute-JO (SIGI) held its regular Annual General Assembly Meeting No. (2) for the year 2025 on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at its headquarters, in the presence of Mr. Anas Al-Rifai, representative of the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs.
Out of a total of 33 members who had paid their subscriptions, 27 participated in the meeting—17 attending in person and 10 by proxy—thus meeting the legal quorum required for the session to proceed.
During the meeting, a new Administrative Board was elected, in accordance with the Association’s 2023 bylaws, for the term extending from August 17, 2025, to August 17, 2029. The board was elected by acclamation and subsequently held its first session to assign roles.
The new Administrative Board is composed as follows:

Dr. Adab Al-Saud – Vice President
Mrs. Sawsan Ishaq – General Secretary
Mrs. Asma Rawahneh – Treasurer
Dr. Amal Al-Awawdeh – Member
Mrs. Fadia Al-Jabr – Member
Mrs. Mona Al-Rfou – Member
It is worth noting that SIGI, founded in 1998 as a feminist and human rights association, has since dedicated its efforts to empowering, supporting, and advancing women in Jordanian society. Over the years, the association has achieved significant milestones and overcome numerous challenges thanks to the combined efforts of its leadership, staff, members, and partners.
