Tadamun” Celebrates Jordanian Flag Day During Its 2026 Annual General Assembly Meeting

Amman – In a festive national atmosphere coinciding with Jordanian Flag Day, the Jordanian Women’s Union Institute “Tadamun” held its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting No. (1) for the year 2026 on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the association’s headquarters.
The meeting commenced with an emphasis on the symbolism of this national occasion, as members of the General Assembly expressed their pride in the Jordanian flag as a symbol of dignity and national unity. They affirmed that institutional and civil work is an integral part of the journey of nation-building and giving. The association also announced its adoption of qualitative activities and events that highlight the history of the Jordanian flag and its national significance.
The legal quorum for the meeting was duly met in accordance with regulations, with a total of 26 members having paid their annual subscriptions. Of these, 15 attended in person and 9 by proxy, allowing the meeting to be held in a formal and lawful manner.
As part of the agenda, the listed items were presented and discussed. The financial and administrative reports for 2025 were approved in line with the Ministry of Social Development’s model, in addition to endorsing the external auditor’s report. The General Assembly also unanimously approved the estimated budget and the executive work plan for 2026, including detailed budgets for the proposed projects aimed at strengthening the association’s progress and expanding its impact.
In the same context, auditors for the years 2025–2026 were appointed, and their fees were determined in accordance with regulations.
In conclusion, “Tadamun” affirmed that this meeting reflects its firm commitment to the principles of transparency and participatory governance, as well as its ongoing dedication to enhancing the effectiveness of its plans and programs, in a way that contributes to achieving gender equality, empowering women and girls, and strengthening their active participation in Jordanian society.
