The Jordanian Women’s Solidarity Institute (Tadamon), represented by Ms. Asma Al-Rawashdeh, participated in the launch event of the initiative “Women in the Jordanian Narrative: Writing the Nation Through Women’s Eyes,” organized by the Ministerial Committee for Women’s Empowerment at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman.

The event aimed to promote national dialogue on the image of Jordanian women in public discourse and the national narrative, while highlighting inspiring female role models and experiences across various fields. Participants also discussed the role of media, cultural institutions, and educational bodies in shaping this image and strengthening women’s participation in public life.

The event witnessed broad emphasis on the importance of developing an inclusive national narrative that reflects the contributions of Jordanian women to the country’s development journey. It concluded with practical recommendations aimed at promoting positive discourse on women’s issues and building genuine partnerships to support women’s role as key partners in shaping the future.

Tadamon’s participation in this event comes as part of its ongoing efforts to support women’s rights, enhance their presence in national dialogues, and advance equality, justice, and women’s empowerment in Jordanian society.
