During the event, funding was announced for 20 projects under the third cycle of the Tamkeen Program, which aims to provide financial support to civil society organizations to implement initiatives and programs that promote political participation, empower young people and women, strengthen political awareness, and support Jordan’s political modernization agenda.
Among the selected initiatives was Tadamon’s project, “Change Agenda: A Practical Political Empowerment Program for Youth and Women.” The project aims to enhance the political empowerment of youth and women by building their capacities and expanding their meaningful participation in political life, in line with the objectives of the Tamkeen Program and Jordan’s political modernization process.
The Jordanian Women’s Union Institute (Tadamon) reaffirmed the importance of supporting national initiatives that empower youth and women and encourage their active participation in public life, thereby promoting the values of citizenship, civic engagement, and sustainable development in Jordan.
